I'd like to have the head on my Miata freshened up. Need new valve seals, but want to check valve guides, etc, while we're in there. Anyone have a recommendation for a shop in SE Wisconsin, or Illinois with Mazda experience? Or should I just figure that any local place can deal with it?
    thanks

Any shop that does "good" machine work should be able to handle this job. I'd recommend my guy but he's not anywhere near you. He's in Crete, IL.

Could you recommend him anyway? I make it to the Chicago area every now and then, and it looks like Crete isn't far from Three Floyds. Good excuse for a road trip.

Thanks guys. Also, Dave @ Advanced Autosports likes Jim Stewart at Stewart Engines in Indianapolis which is a bit out of the way from where I am.

Talk to Joe or Matt Rhyne or Mike McKinney the general manager.
