1985 VW GTI ITB car from European Car magazine's "Project Race Ready Golf" Pictures and the story can be seen at www.europeancarweb.com and follow the link on "project cars". This is a well built car with two races on a fresh engine and transmission built by SCI Performnace in Minneapolis last winter (ARP bolts, new pistons, etc. etc.). The car comes with a mounted set of Toyos, a mounted set of Avons (2 sessions on them), a mounted set of Toyo rains and two extra sets of wheels. Also spare engine block, head, FI stuff and suspension parts and spare fenders. Lots of ectras, and all the usual stuff that people list in such adds. I ran in the 29's my first time with the new motor at Blackhawk this spring (while still breaking it in) so there is lots to work with. This is truly (now!) a ready to race car. I need to move on to another project to write about, so if you have a neat project car, or ready to go racer, let me know. I'd especially be interested in a vintage Formula Vee or a vintage spridget or ??? As I live in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, I'll be happy to help with delivery, for expenses.
